PRO X CompactFlash

Der US-amerikanische Hersteller SimpleTech, Inc. wird auf der PMA 2003 (Photo MarketingAssociation) in Las Vegas vom 2. bis xx. März 2003 die Produktserie PRO X einführen. SimpleTech, Inc. (Nasdaq:STEC), a leading provider for Flash-based storage, and custom and standard memory solutions, introduces the PRO X line of CompactFlash(TM) (CF) Flash cards, delivering breakthrough write speed of 4MB/sec. SimpleTech is demonstrating the PRO X CF cards at the 2003 PMA (Photo Marketing Association) Annual Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas, March 2-5, 2003. SimpleTech is exhibiting in booth #A119 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Don't miss a shot because your camera's CompactFlash card can't keep up with the action, said David Abbott, Flash product manager for SimpleTech. The PRO X card's 4MB/sec. write speed reduces wait time between shots, so you can capture more images. The PRO X is twice as fast as standard CF cards, meaning it's twice as fast as the card that's in your camera right now.

PRO X CF cards incorporate Xcell multitasking technology, with a new advanced controller that provides an exponential increase in throughput for writing the picture file, delivering fast, accurate recording of high-resolution images and outstanding reliability. Available in capacities ranging from 256MB to 1GB, PRO X meets all CompactFlash Association specifications, ensuring complete compatibility with all CompactFlash digital cameras.

SimpleTech's PRO X CF cards offer breakthrough write speed that optimizes the media interface features of digital cameras, so that any photographer can take pictures like a pro, Abbott said. And our breakthrough pricing fits any photographer's budget.

SimpleTech customers are also offered a free trial of PhotoRescue software. Once registered, customers can download the photo recovery software onto their computer, and either insert the Flash card into a reader, or dock their camera, and view thumbnail images of their pictures. If one of the images on the card is corrupted, the rescue software can be purchased, and the image recovered.

The PRO X Professional Series CompactFlash cards are available now in Type I and Type II formats. Type I is offered in 256MB and 512MB capacities, and Type II is offered in 1GB capacity. SRP ranges from $109 to $349.
